Guided Group Meditation

WHEN: 6th March

WHAT TIME? 7pm-8.30pm

PRICE: Donation

This evening group meditation in The Hub with Anita is open for anyone to join, helping to create a space of peace in our busy lives.

Meditation is the perfect way to ground ourselves.
By using our breath to arrive fully into the present moment, we are able to actively lower our stress hormones and find a deep sense of wellbeing and peace.

When we join with others in a group meditation, the energy of calm is enhanced and the overall experience is enriched.
Meditation can help us to experience a shift in perspective and open up fresh solutions.
So simple and yet so powerful!

You are very welcome to join our guided meditation group and also stay for a chat and a cuppa afterwards.

Spring Equinox Retreat Day

WHEN: 20th March 2024

WHAT TIME? 10:30am-4pm
PRICE: £48 per person
 

A beautiful retreat day to celebrate the spring equinox!
 

Nature Connection Meditation Walk
Our day begins with a guided meditation walk around the land with Anita, visiting the trees, enjoying all the beautiful first signs of spring, in quiet reflection & nature space.
 

Magic Willow Medicine
We'll be delving into the magic of willow, as at this time of year, the salicylic acid is at it's highest content which we'll be capturing in our foraged willow bark medicine.
We'll be learning about the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of willow & after our medicine making we'll take our willow wands to guide us into our sound journey with sound healer Stu Hampton, to welcome in the spring energies.
 

Healing Sound Journey
With gongs, singing bowls, Shruti box & mantra. A chance for you to relax & tune into the spring that is awakening on all levels.
 

This day includes a nourishing (plant-based) lunch, plus fresh spring water on tap, teas & snacks.

Please let us know if you have any food intolerances.
 

What to bring:

Warm layers, wellies/walking boots/waterproof clothing for the walk. Unless you wish to walk barefoot!
A sharp knife for stripping the willow bark (a garden knife is good!). Blanket & yoga mat for your sound journey. All other materials provided.

Wellness Wednesday: Nature Meditation, Breathwork & Spring Medicine Making 

 

WHEN: 17th April 2024

WHAT TIME? 10:30am-3:30pm
PRICE: £48 per person

Join us for a Day of Self-Care, Creativity and Nature Connection.

NATURE CONNECTION
Immerse yourself in nature with a guided walking meditation around our hill meadow led by Anita Hedges. Connect with the trees and elements and freshly unfurling spring energies.

BREATHWORK WITH MENI FARKASH 
After our peaceful & grounding walk in nature, we have a cleansing breathwork session with yoga and breathwork practitioner Meni Farkash. Detoxify your body, relax your nervous system and unlock the amazing benefits of breathwork.

After a break for lunch, we'll then begin our
SPRING MEDICINE MAKING 
Craft your very own 'multi-vitamins' as we create a mineral rich herbal tonic. We'll be wild foraging fresh spring herbs, bursting with life & spring energy at this time of year, learning about their cleansing & nutritious properties & crafting a simple elixir you can use every day to boost your health.

The day includes:
Nutritious plant based Lunch with fresh ingredients from the veg patch & wild foraged finds (please contact us if you have any allergies or intolerances).
Refreshments throughout the day.

What to Bring:
Waterproof jacket and warm layers for outdoor activities
Yoga mat for breathwork
